When headcount tripled, the people operating system did not
Situation
Rapid hiring across sales and product. Onboarding was ad hoc, managers were inconsistent, and “who owns this?” followed every new initiative.
What we did
Defined role expectations by level, rebuilt onboarding around first 30 / 60 / 90 outcomes, and installed a lightweight manager rhythm tied to business cadence.
Outcome
Fewer escalations to founders on people issues, faster time-to-contribution for new hires, and a shared language for performance that did not feel corporate-heavy.
